About IPPT Calculator Singapore

IPPT Calculator Singapore was built to solve a simple but persistent problem: understanding your IPPT score shouldn't require digging through scattered PDFs and outdated scoring tables.

Why we built this

We spent significant time researching official SAF and MINDEF fitness standards (Source: ns.gov.sg), cross-referencing scoring tables across age groups, gender categories, and test stations (push-up, sit-up, 2.4km run) to make sure every calculation reflects the actual current standards used by the Singapore Armed Forces — not outdated or approximated figures. Pre-enlistee standards are also checked against LifeSG's Pre-enlistee IPPT guide (Source: LifeSG).

This research went beyond just the numbers. We looked into how the IPPT window system works, how pre-enlistee scoring differs from NSmen scoring, how PES status affects requirements, and how the award tiers (Gold, Silver, Pass) are structured — so that the guides on this site explain the why behind the score, not just the score itself.

Our commitment to accuracy

Every scoring table on this site is checked against official Singapore Government standards, referenced from LifeSG's official Pre-enlistee IPPT guide and the official NS Portal (ns.gov.sg). When standards are updated, we review and update our calculator and guides accordingly, and the "last updated" date on each page reflects that.
